What Our Clients Say
To my favorite ladies! Hi Marcia and Ashley~ Thank you!! It was my pleasure to have meet you both and Aloma healthcare. Hopefully I won’t need you all in the near future😊, but I will recommend you to my family and friends. With ASHLEY it was always a breath of fresh air. She would arrive with her big smile and take charge which was very reassuring. Of course we bonded about all kinds of things, but I would say coffee and Adele were our favorites.🧡Marcia you made my transition to my home (-hospital stays lol) seamless and comfortable. Please keep doing what your doing, bc people in this world need people like yourselves. “Thank you” does not began to say enough! Please stay in touch. Thank you again. Your friend always. Kristin Marteney 🤗
I am very excited about this opportunity to provide an endorsement for this business owner. Having known her for several years, I know her to be a compassionate, empathetic, woman of integrity. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to medical matters and an excellent communicator. She enjoys serving and is concerned about the welfare of those that she serves. I have no doubt that you and your loved ones will experience the benefits of these qualities when you make Aloma Healthcare your Home Health provider.
I just want to say that Ashley Robinson is going to be a wonderful addition to your community. She is an amazing worker, she is committed to giving her patients the best care possible, and also the best coworker anyone can ask for. I miss her greatly but so glad she found her place with you. Congrats Ashley you will do amazing.
Ashley and her team and especially my dad's caregiver they paired us with are just amazing! They took time to listen and evaluate all of the needs in my home to care for my dad. Donna our caregiver is great and my dad really enjoys his time shared with her! If you need help, reach out to the Aloma team! I cannot recommend them enough!
Where do I start? Having no experience with home health care services, I really did not know what to expect. It was by God’s grace that brought Marcia and I together, and she shared with me her “calling” which is to serve those in need of home health care. My husband and I had planned a quick getaway trip; but my soul was not at peace about leaving my mom! And amazingly , Marcia happened text me approximately 2weeks prior to our trip, to let me know if I needed anything to contact her. And I did! She responded with a in-home visit and assessment. At this meeting we met Ashley Robinson; whom is a great asset to Aloma In Home Care!! She and my mom bonded so well during the assessment! I could not believe it!! ! Marcia and Ashley, tailored the care plan for my mom and put my mind at ease! It was like a LOAD lifted!! My mom has dementia and is still very independent, healthy , and can be very challenging. Aloma Health Care Services were able to care for my mom and keep her engaged!!! She enjoyed every bit of the time Ashley and Marcia ! I highly recommend Aloma Healthcare Services to care for your love ones. They are Professional, caring , and timely.

Yes. From your client dashboard on SmartCare, go to client manager forms and resources. Here you can view all the onboarding signed documents, care plan, VA orders (if applicable) and more.
Our caregivers use standard infection control principles including universal precautions as directed by the CDC. PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves and masks will be supplied to caregivers by Aloma. In addition, all caregivers must complete a pre-screen prior to every shift. If fever or illness is indicated, the caregiver is prohibited from electronically clocking into the SmartCare portal. Once administrators/Care supervisors are contacted, you will also be made aware. Aloma follows CDC guidelines and protocols, so caregivers are quarantined and documented days off are observed in accordance. If a caregiver is unavailable due to an illness and an alternate is not available, families may have to provide interim care.
Upon onboarding, you were given a complaint and grievance form. You may fill that out or contact your assigned care lead, client manager, or home office. There is also a place in Smart Care where you can leave feedback about your caregiver (both positive and negative) which we encourage you to do. To leave feedback, go to your Smart Care dashboard and scroll down to “My feedback”. Here is where you will find a section to document complaints, suggestions, and rate your caregive.
Each caregiver goes through a rigorous screening process, which includes:
- Background checks by Department of Public Safety
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Sexual offender registry checks
- Employment verification and reference checks
- Drug screenings
Aloma spends a great deal of time recruiting, hiring, and training caregivers. We have a tier system that matches a qualified caregiver that matches the clients’ need. Along with the background checks, we also have them go through a very extravagant and lengthy orientation and training program. We also do continued training and repeat all background checks yearly. We will be in constant contact if there is ever a concern, please let us know!
Yes! We encourage the caregivers to eat meals with the client if requested.
No. To protect the client and caregiver interests, all client payments must be received electronically or through arrangements made with the client manager. Aloma prohibits caregivers from receiving money from clients directly. Gifts under $25 are allowed but must be disclosed to management immediately.
An annual assessment is conducted to meet state requirements. However, if there are any changes in your needs or condition, a reassessment may be warranted sooner to ensure you receive the appropriate level of care, which may also include additional supervisory visits based on those changes.
